The following describes standard laboratory reconstitution protocol for lyophilized research compounds. This information is provided for qualified researchers only and does not constitute dosing guidance for any organism.
Lyophilized peptides are typically reconstituted using bacteriostatic water (BAC water). Slowly inject the BAC water down the side of the vial and swirl gently — never shake. The volume of BAC water added determines the final concentration in the vial. Reconstituted material should be refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within 30–60 days depending on the compound.
Bacteriostatic water is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized peptides in the laboratory. We stock BAC Water (30mL) as part of our Essentials lineup.
